Making Memories Offer of Artwork to Support FCS+ FCS+ Announces
Our First Ever Original Oil Painting!
Picture yourself and that special youth in this picture. You have invested in that young person by taking time to enjoy the outdoors on a special pheasant hunt. The artist has captured the beauty of creation in a setting that is famiiar to all. It may be South Dakota, or any of a number of states. The sportsmanship of the hunters is reflected in the way the gun is carried. The success of the hunt is reflected by a bird in hand and tail feathers showing from the game bag in the adults vest. Birds are flying, but the bag is full, so the game is saved for another day. The sky is resplendant with fall colors as are the trees. The presence of the church reflects the past and the importance of current church participation in ones life. John 2:16 has been carved in the broken off tree trunk in the left foreground, reminding us of the gospel. And the FCS+ logo on the barn reflects the connection of this ministry with outdoor pursuits where we share Christ with others.
Help us out by the purchase of a giclee (high resolution image on canvas) or a print. Use the painting to share with others your passion for the outdoors and for the Lord who made it all. Pray for this ministry as you see the image, and share with others who might like to enjoy our events and promote our ministry.
We commissioned Mark S Anderson, local wildlife artist, to create an origial oil painting to vizualize the spirit of what we do and what we see as important to this ministry. Mark has accomplished that goal in "Making Memories".
We have a number of purposes in offering this painting
- One It is a fund raising effort to assist with program and needs of this ministry.
- Two., We ask that it will be a visual reminder to all who look upon it to pray for this ministry.
- Three. We hope it will remind all who see the painting and the logo of the mission and purposes for which we exist.
- Four. We hope that it will provide an opportunity to share this ministry with others.
We are offering both prints and *giclees to our family of friends and supporters. The giclees are offered signed and numbered by Mark in a limited offering of 75 including both the origial size and the small size of 18" by 24". The prints are offered in a limited release of 250 and are signed and numbered by the artist as well.
* a giclee is a high quality reproduction of the original usually done on a media other than paper. In our offering, they are on canvas, and are mounted on a wood frame and stretched and sealed as the original art work has been.
