Red Label Christmas Hunt
An excited group arrived at the Red Label Lodge on Friday, Dec 9, 2012. Many arrived before an evening presentation by Lee Thomas of Louisiana. He was the guest speaker for the weekend provided by Scott and Renee Olson, owners of the lodge. Renee had a vast array of treats available for all who took part, and they invited many of their friends and neighbors to take advantage of the presentation by the Evangelist, Lee Thomas. He spoke in accord with the title of his book, Praying Effectively for the Lost. His son Andy was a long as well and shared the Word on Sunday morning before our hunt.
There were 12 guests that ejoyed the fellowship and the hunting. Some were from Iowa, the Thomas' came from Louisiana and our friend Chaplain Brent Mulder (Active Duty Air Force) took part bringing a friend from Iowa. We had a great hunt. The weather was like the early fall day. The pheasants were flying hard, being their usual sneaky selves, and the dogs worked hard to provide us a wonderful experience in God's great outdoors. His glory was evident every where we turned. Sunday's hunt took place after our worship service, and it was more windy, and the birds more spooky, but a few were taken.

Jared Hill and Mitch Kjose were wonderful helpers in providing the food and the fun afield. I appreciate both of them and their willingness to come along and help make this event a great time.
We thank Scott and Renee and Eric and LaTeisha for making the day a great one. The sharing of their lodge, their expertise, their dogs, and their hunting land is a huge donation to us. They have long partnered with FCS+ in providing this hunt. We had it scheduled last year until a blizzard over New Year's Day closed the highways and made travel unsafe.
Are you looking for a great place to host a hunt? For family or for friends, we recommend Red Label Lodge and Guide Service of Kimball. Go to their website and get more details. http://redlabelgs.com/
